Working Holiday Visa
With a Working Holiday Visa, subclass 417, young adults 18 to 30 years old (or 35 years old for some countries) can do short-term work in Australia to help pay for their holiday. You must hold a valid passport from an eligible country or jurisdiction and not be accompanies by dependent children. You can do any kind of work on this visa.
You can apply for a Second or Third Working Holiday Visa if you meet certain eligibility criteria.

Visitor Visa
The visitor visa, subclass 600, lets you visit Australia to meet family and friends or make a short visit for business reasons. This visa will allow you to stay for 3,6 or 12 months. You must be outside of Australia when you apply for this visa. For a visitor visa under tourist stream the length of your stay can be valid for more than 12 months if you are the parent or step-parent of an Australian citizen or permanent resident, and you meet all the visa criteria.

Electronic Travel Authority
The Electronic Travel Authority (ETA),subclass 601, is not a work visa. You cannot undertake paid work for an Australian employer. If you work or intend to work in Australia on an ETA, your ETA may be cancelled. You may be removed or refused entry to Australia.
With this visa you can travel to Australia to visit family and friends or as a business visitor. This is a temporary visa granted with multiple entry. It is valid for travel to Australia for either 12 months, or for the period your passport is valid, whichever is shorter. You can remain in Australia for 3 months after each entry.
You must be a citizen and hold a valid passport from an eligible country to be eligible to apply for an ETA.
eVisitor
The eVisitor visa, subclass 651, is a temporary visa granted with multiple entry. With this visa you can travel to Australia to visit family and friends or as a business visitor. It is valid for travel to Australia for either 12 months, or for the period your eVisitor is valid, whichever is shorter. You can remain in Australia for 3 months after each entry.
You can’t include family members in your application. A separate application must be made for each member of your family, including those listed on your passport.
You must hold a valid passport from an eligible country to be eligible to apply for this visa.
